Our first Camping trip.

With the car packed we were on our way to Upper Yarra reservoir park to go camping for the first time. 

Bubble will tell her experience of camping. We have to walk to the toilets, and we looked at the park office, then we went for a walk, we looked at different trees, we found ferns and big trees over 200 years old, while we looked for firewood too.

We got hot water and mummy have to rip up my favourite towel, as she forgot a tea towel and cloth. Daddy got the fire started when mummy and Bubble were at the toilet.   We cooked dinner on the fire and had nachos. After dinner we marshmallow on the fire for dessert, it was yummy! Daddy and Ninja looked for more firewood in the dark while I went to bed with Hero. 

We wake up early the next morning as Daddy had lost the car keys the night before and wanted to look in the daytime and we wouldn't be going home without them, we thought a bird might of taken it, but soon mummy sang a silly song and found them in a bush! 

We packed the car, drove to the toilets and Dad got back in and the car wouldn't go...

We did get home and a big Thank you to Nanna and Pa, Uncle CJ and Opadad for coming to the rescue and Uncle CJ for fixing the car, :) 

We do look forward to our next trip, can't be anymore expensive than our first and also can't have that much more adventure in it really?

Started term 2

Happened last week as things went crazy 2 weeks ago when we went on our first camping trip and our car had to be towed and repaired, will get one of the children to blog about camping.

Last week saw Hero decide he wants to do a unit study and video game development and history so we visited the library and have plenty of books with information, he started a blog and will link it another time but has called it gray development. He has posted about things he wants to learn, a review of a game he likes to play on the ps3 and a video link of something he watched online, as well as read information from the books.

Ninja we were going to do a unit study he was all set for WW1 but after the day 1 we decided he would need to be reading so we have gone back to basics and he really enjoyed the rest of the week, he did recently have an eye test and it was revealed he needs glasses, so we do hope it helps him!

Bubble has been bouncing along cooking and playing wanting to do school too, she is a darling, but loves to make a creative mess... :)

Love them all lots and I am enjoying the homeschooling life! :) I am learning new things every day! :)
