And another... Whoops

Ok so September saw our youngest Princess turn 3, she ended up with Gastro on her birthday... Dad took Hero andNinja to the snow and they had a great time, didn't get there much this year...

Whoops a month went by...

Where do we begin, maybe where we left off....

HP7 Part was scary, dark, enjoyable with a good ending... (Hero)
(Ninja) I loved it! :)

The 7th of August saw Ninja turn 6, how fast he has grown, he got to eat his favourite fast food, go to the park and got some fab presents, including get a furno 3.0 and the witch doctor, you know they are getting big when they receive lego for there birthday...

Fun!

We have had a fun day today we have played Mario kart WII, LEGO, played outside and some work.
Tonight we are seeing Harry Potter 7 part 2. (I will let you know what I think tomorrow).

Loves of this week!

Peanut butter and Jam Sandwiches... (Hero, couldn't eat them at school)
Winning Bowser jr on the wii (Ninja with Dad's help)
Going down the slide with Dad (Princess)
Making Ricotta Cheese Cake and all baking we have done this week! (Mummy)
Spending time with the children at the playcentre, racing them down the big slide! (Daddy)

Rainbows and Clouds

This week as well as last week and possibly next few weeks we have been looking into the weather, (Hero's choice) and on Monday we read about Noah's ark, so we followed it up with cooking  Rainbow cookies and meringues for clouds, they were so yummy and very colorful   (No yellow as Ninja sneezed on the mixture while colouring the yellow dough). 

Last week we went to the Library and grabbed some books about Weather and other things that interested us. We also as made a weather wheel and other worksheets, to help us understand the weather. 

Hero is recording the weather for the day each Monday (which includes sunrise and sunset) and doing other science experiments including how long does it take water to turn to ice and ice to turn to water, 6 hours and 4 hours. He guessed they would be the same!


So as we continue this week, we will continue to update.

PS. Oh yeah Princess is trying to count to 30, at least she doesn't do 2010, like her big brother Hero use to do! :) 29 2010 2011 2012 no no it is 29, 30, 31 it is so cute to remember back to those things.. :) 

PPS. We also learnt about water cycles and that water is old, check this out...

Welcome to the Cubby!

Hello, I am Hero I am 8 and love Hero factory, LEGO and Yoshi, I have a younger brother Ninja almost 6 and a sister Princess almost 3. Ninja loves Street fighter and playing LEGO too... Princess well she is a princess and loves to play with whatever we are doing... 

We have just started homeschooling, after I had been at school for a couple of years, I am finding it good being at home and able to play in the cubby all day! My mum and dad will help keep you up to date and we will add photos along the way to show what we are learning about... Till next time come and hang out in the cubby.
